Holmes gave Ali his worst beating I thought. I just feel sick seeing that fight. Ali had no business in that ring at that point, period.
In the time when Ali fought Holmes he was just a standing corpse. Any HW on that time could give Ali a big beating with just a few slaps so that fight is pointless.
Between those two, Foreman. Why do you think Ali did the rope-a-dope?

Because of a rope-a-dope "technique" fight with Foreman was not very hard. Ali took all big shots on gloves and ropes helped him a lot. The fight with Frazier III was most hard, Ali told that this was the closest thing to dye of. He was sitting for a few minutes on the middle of the ring before he could stand up. It's possible that he could not finish the 15th round at all. The whole evening after fight Ali spent in his bed recovering, while Frazier was dancing and singing in the lobby.
Foreman gave him a tough one, but Ali knew what he had to do to win...
Frazier is the winner here...Ali just had to fight it out with him in three tough fights...Lost the first one, won the second, the 3rd was pretty much even until the final rounds...
Neither one.....He exposed those chumps as paper champions. Ali's hardest fight was clearly the first Frazier fight. Called simply 'The Fight' it lived up to the hype and has with stood the test of time.
Yeah, Liston and Foreman only paper champs? dude, I dont believe that you have any clue as to what you are saying. Foreman wins the gold at the olympics ko's frazier. Ya, you may be right, he only looks tough on paper, lmao And Liston, that guy was feared by everybody, he was a murderous puncher. But i suppose that liston could not even punch through the paper that his title was fabricated on. Get real dude...Rockin'
Would you like to name some heavyweights who are not either:
"chumps". or "Paper Champions".
I cant wait to see Tyson's name in the list. A true paper champion at its finest.
Did I hurt your feelings or can't anyone have a different opinion than yours?
Who did Liston ever beat? A scared Floyd Patterson twice? One title defense for Liston, two at the most? After his lose to Ali Liston was basically never heard from again.
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting to be labeled great.
