If Ruiz just wants money and has blown up again it makes sense. The way he blew through his money for the AJ fights I wouldn't be shocked if he took the first big offer to come his way. I don't think he is in this for anything other than money at this point. He already made "history" when he captured the titles. He picks up a win here he gets another payday because there is value in beating him. Joyce can use the name on his resume, Anderson and Hrgovic too.

These are all meaningless fights for Ruiz. At this point, he needs to fight some contenders and not journeymen and Uber/Lyft drivers.
