Yes, Lubin is not big nor strong enough to hold Fundora off of him. And it is clear that Fundora can take Lubin's best shots. Everyone keeps saying all Lubin has to do is stick to boxing and he can win....But what makes anyone think Fundora will let him just box if he has no fear of what is coming in return?

Great point
Do you think his injuries had anything to do with loss ?
I also believe if he had time on the clock when he put Fundora down , he would of taken him out

Lubin did not throw much after the 7th round when he got the KD so he may have thrown his shoulder out then or the following round. But even before the KD, he was taking a lot of big shots and was not able to slow Fundora down at all...Just a bad match up for Lubin, who may be the smallest LMW in the top 10. He's really a WW fighting at LMW. There are plenty of WW's that are naturally bigger than him.
If he listens to his corner and steps around Fundura he might have a chance. If he sits in the middle like he did might as well don't even try to fight the guy. I think Lubin thought that his power would prevail and it didn't.
Lubin won't be fighting again this year. He'll need an easy 1st qtr fight if he comebacks in January. When Jermell vacates Fundora will fight for a vacant belt. Again, if it ain't Tim or Crawford, Jermell's work is done at 154, fought everyone he could. Maybe there is a money fight or 2 for him at 160. Frankly I'd let Jermell, get the money and knockout Tim. He deserves that more than a worthless Fundora fight.
What possible reason would there be a rematch for?
Lubin was completely dominated. Yes he had moments. That said, he took a severe and brutal beating.
Fondura should move on to the elite in the division.
Lubin has now lost both times he’s fought upper echelon opponents in the division. He needs to rebuild back and hopefully he can land another title shot down the road.

The judges had Lubin up so maybe if he had survived, he would have gotten the decision.
