The best part about that fight was watching all of the ****** casuals fade off into obscurity after a good 2 weeks of post-fight complaining. Good! I just didn't like how the sport (e.g., HBO) crapped all over the fight for the rest of the year. That's not a good look for the sport in general.

When people make claims like this they can never back it up with facts. Boxing is thriving at least in America it is and Floyd is one of the biggest reasons. Wherever he goes they watch and follow. Just look on boxingscene. Floyd is easily the most talked about fighter with at least 3-5 threads a day. Boxing is steadily rising with 26Million fans since 2010 and MMA is not bigger. Floyd and American Heavyweights have carried this sport for a while now. I’d also like to add Mayweather- Pacquiao fight is still earning multi million views on YouTube.

      Mayweather- Pacquiao
      Mayweather- McGregor
      Mayweather-Paul

Alll 3 fights brought millions of fans and dollars into the sport of boxing.

I agree to an extent but it's been and gone, I think the heavyweight division has recently reignited casual interest in boxing.

Yes. The hwt division being so bad for such a long time also really hurt the sport because most casuals don’t watch unless it’s a big hwt title fight.

Why? Did you see anything in the first fight that leads you to believe a second fight would have yielded a different result or have had any financial success? I sure didn’t.

By losing badly to Floyd and getting fixed scorecards in important fights?

Did you put on your pink lipstick and matching leotards before jerking it to your favorite sweaty Canelo poster today? Infatuated pha66ot.
