The same guy who was losing on the cards vs a 40yr old Stevenson? Bivol is on a different league than Gvozdyk.

Before more folks get all a dither this is sparring folks and not a real official boxing match. As most folks on mother Earth know, sparring partners are brought in to work on certain skills, conditioning, and strategies. Sparring partners are not as accomplished as the world-class or elite opponents that champions face.

Well, he is not a clone but getting used to the height, jabs and 1-2s is something he has to get ready for.

That is fantasy land.
If Bivol didn't have pop someone would've walked him down and through him. I think Bivol settles into cruise control and that's why he doesn't score knockouts.

Now that these illustrious posters have given their expert opinion on Saul Alvarez's choice of Gvozdyk as a sparring partner....any thoughts on Bivol's choice of Alexis Espino as his sparring partner? This kid is 22 years old with an 11 and 6 with one KO amateur record and is 9 and O with 6 KOs as a pro. Is he going to get Bivlol ready for Alvarez? Let's hear from the experts!

Bivol's footwork is like Pacquiao's. it's hard to imitate at LHW
