He just needs a long rest. When you are in your 20s, you can take some beatings and recover.

Everytime I watch those black and white tapes of Jake Lamotta, he took beatings like it was nobody's business so gtfo with that retirement talk.

The problem with Erickson is his unwillingness or his inability to follow Kevin Cunningham's excellent instructions! Even the commentators noted that Kevin was telling him all the right things to do. Erickson would nod his head to Kevin Cunningham but once the start of each round happened, he would go right back to what he was doing, which was fighting Fundora's fight and not his own fight.

Lubin just didn't listen to instructions from the corner so he didn't adjust what he was doing his ego got to him in the fight and he wanted to stand and **** with fundora and played right into his hands

Fundora will give everybody problems. The guy is tall as hell. If you can't get to his body then you are cooked. Lublin needs to take some time off and get back at it.

Lubin was doing great at the middle distance , he reallyneeded to use his legs more. He's got the skills to win a title , I think and he's definitely tough enough. He would he beat a lot of guys on Saturday.
Fundora is a punch throwing machine with a chin from hell. He's a tough night for anyone.

Well he couldn't. He tried to outbox Fundora from the outside but Sebastian kept the constant pressure on him all night with his smothering, suffocating and relentless attack on the inside with his high punch volume to the point where Erickson had no room to move or a route to escape the barrage of punches that were being thrown at him.

Tony has so much to say about Lubin, let's see how he deals with the "Towering Inferno!"

Was it that bad? I saw Fundora in the highlights take some brutal shots for a guy of his build. Cotton went on to do a lot after Marg and Pac
