Idk, it’s Garcia’s offense that drops his opponents punch rate. Same with GGG, now the Golovkin’s losing his come forward style he’s getting lit up a lot more.

Being aggressive, putting it on them early, let them feel the power and trying to get them out of there is they way Garcia fights best. He’s a gunslinger.

      I could actually see it.

      “Mental health” excuses again.

Ryan was completely flat tonight. For me, I saw his level. I can't see him doing any better at any other weight against top contenders moving forward. I see downhill after tonight. Maybe fighting at his proper weight (welter) might help him. He looked at least 160 tonight against a big lightweight opponent.

Maybe he should stick with his social media.[/QUOT

The main thing I learned tonight is that I will never watch Tagoe again. Got a chance on the big stage to make a name and ran and hugged his way to a 13 point loss (on my card) Nash out.

That DAZN stooge Todd Grisham or whatever he’s called said something like “Tagoe is one of the hungriest and most confident fighters you’ll ever see” before handing the call over to the commentary team. Tagoe then went into survival mode for 12 rounds.

Broner does know his boxing. He just wasted his knowledge because he is an idiot.

Garcia has only power and speed to rely upon, but as you say is overly deficient in his technique. However, with that kind of speed he's dangerous for everybody if he manages to land in the right spot.

You can be an idiot and still be a good boxer, one way or another.

I'm indeed curious to see where Ryanna goes from here. However, I remember when I was sure that Oscar De La Hoya, who I never rated as highly as many people do, would get knocked out "in his next fight", starting from Rafael Ruelas. I had to wait until 2004 to see that happen.

Then, of course, Manny Pacquiao gave me the gratification I had missed for so many years, all at once.

When a fighter is hyped/protected by the boxing establishment, he will probably go farther than we expect...

All these fighters need to be more active. Garcia was rusty and if he was active enough, he would of stopped Tagoe. I still want see Garcia-Tank.

a lot of our favorite fighters are so inactive that now I expect these boring 12 round decisions in the future.
