The Tagoe fight is one of the worst fights I've ever seen. But looking forward, I can't see Garcia really beating any of the top dogs out there especially Tank. Ryan is like Khan in the sense he overcompensates for speed and leaves himself open to a lot. The top guys will catch him. Tagoe, what little he threw, he landed a few punches that he probably shouldn't have.

Garcia has good speed and can crack which will always make him dangerous, especially against fighters with more ambition to win

But he is pretty basic in most other aspects.

Maybe he needs to get back to the Reynoso gym, the dirtiest gym in boxing. Looked better when he was juicing there.

I think it's hard to get an offense going with someone that is ducking down and as short as Tagoe. Can't complain about his performance because he dominated every round and letting his hands go.

Ryan was completely flat tonight. For me, I saw his level. I can't see him doing any better at any other weight against top contenders moving forward. I see downhill after tonight. Maybe fighting at his proper weight (welter) might help him. He looked at least 160 tonight against a big lightweight opponent.

Maybe he should stick with his social media.

It don't matter who Ryan Garcia trainer was Tagoe refused to fight came to run, hug and at times literally tackled Ryan instead of try to win any rounds. He came to survive and stank the joint. Pacquiao didn't look good against Clottey who did the same and Canelo didn't look good against Lara. You can bash Ryan for a lot of things but today was way more about Tagoe refusal to fight.
