It took GGG 5 rounds to get warmed up. That's fine against Murata, but against Canelo? GGG was hurt to the body early. Not liking his chances against Canelo. I'll call that fight now: Canelo will KO GGG with a body shot within the first 5 rounds.

Cong**** to Golovkin, he turned it on after a sluggish start and got the tko.

However, have to say I can't see him beating Canelo, or a guy like Benavidez at super middleweight.

He does seem to be more vulnerable to the body, and has slowed with his hand speed and movement, although the power is still there.

I thought GGG came out very slow and his defense was rusty from rounds 1-4. He picked up the pace in round 5-9 and looked better as the fight went on. He will need to get sharper if he has a chance vs Canelo at this stage. I'm a huge GGG fan, but father time is undefeated and if hes going to fight Canelo one more time, it has to be soon before his skills erode further.

Golovkin would likely beat both of them even at his advanced boxing age. He should fight Canelo and go for the highest prize.

              "shot to pieces" ?

              A bit dramatic?

I think there is a burning desire to get back in there with Canelo, even at 40. He feels he was robbed in both fights, (I agree with him on fight 1) and wants to avenge the loss. I personally think Canelo at this stage of their careers might be too much for him. I don't think Canelo would knock him out, but it could be a very wide decision if not referee stoppage later in the fight. I'd rather see him fight Charlo and beat him and then ride off into the sunset.

Thought murata’s lack of head movement would be a trouble for him against Golovkin, as it showed, tough chin tho, Golovkin’s old rotation not as fliud as before ,slower, but jab is as accurate and powerful as ever, and seems to have developed a better backfoot fighting game, good defense as well.

1-5 Looked well past his best. 6-9. Shades of prime Golovkin. Still worthy of Canelo 3. Nash out.

                      Golovkin needs to retire.
