Murata has a broken jaw for sure. Can't decide if he was foolish or brave to think he could keep up absorbing GGG's punches with little defence. Both of them clobbered each other tbh, difference being that GGG appears to be made of steel reinforced concrete, whereas Murata is a mere human being.

Really enjoyed the fight but as many here already said the Canelo fight doesnt sound more attractive to me…
there are other good fights to make, andrade , munguia, eubanks are all good interesting fights, imo canelo should just focus on winning against Bivol and then unifying the division against the winner of bivol smithComment

Took GGG too long to get that stoppage. I think he may have broken Murata’s jaw or something. The way Murata winced with that punch.
Canelo may KO GGG though. GGG did NOT look good there, nothing classic about his performance contrary to what the ringside announcers are saying. GGG looked awful in the first 4 rounds and after every combination he threw, he looked like he was gasping for breath. The body punches also didn’t look good on GGG.
I am not interested in a trilogy. GGG should retire on this TKO win. What better way to retire than with a TKO over a top 10 MW and retire as a unified champion? Just call it a career. It was a very good one, very successful. Better career than a lot of boxers. No need to keep going and lose badly vs your rival in a fight that no one’s going to think anything of other than GGG was old and shot.Comment

True, but it was working, and Murata rapidly deteriorated. I don't know if was clear enough whether GGG hurt Murata to the body (which sounds like a ridiculous thing to say I know)Comment

that said, he’s also clearly been in decline for a good 5-6 years
I think the only slight hope for the Canelo fight is they have shared the ring twice now, GGG clearly won the first fight but it’s always been competitive and sometimes even when one fighter gets older and faded
, they know each other well enough and stylistically they can still always be competitive, that happens
but that’s best case scenario, i think the reality is one is still in his prime one is 40 and declining and there’s no coming back from thatComment

Good fight, Murata was tough and brought a vicious left hook to the body that he didn't show before. When GGG shook the ring rust it was down hill for Murata.
Don't know if the Canelo fight is the best option, Canelo has gotten bigger and better and GGG has gotten older and slower. Big money fight so I doubt it is not going to happen.
These announcers were better than that other crew that Danz has.Comment
