        This is a bit of a difficult one.

        Against Pacquiao, Mayweather cemented himself as the best boxer of his era.

        However Canelo may go down as the best boxer of his era.

        20 years from now, his win over Canelo might be held in greater esteem as it effectively answers who would win when the best fighters of an era fight each other.

                    Canelo was on the P4P list when he fought Floyd and was also ranked #1 at Jr Middleweight.
