If both can get a couple notable wins under belts then it's possible the fight can become profitable enough for PBC and GB/Dazn to co-promote. After Tagoe,,Ryan can make a statement against say JoJo or possibly even Loma since Haney and Kambo will be tied up for atleast a year if Haney wins. Not sure who's there for Tank to do the same with if they're going to continue to keep it "in-house" but a couple impressive/notable wins for each would really get the ball/anticipation moving towards a showdown.

Got Ryan by rd 8-9 KO. Tanks 4' little ass will get put to sleep trying to close the distance against the much taller, longer, faster Ryan. If Tank attempts to keep it at distance,he will get outboxed as well, bad match up for Tank. Always felt only Haney will trouble Ryan but his lack of power and possible chin will be his achilles heel in that fight as well.

IF THIS ERA of Boxing were not what it was we would not be even talking about Garcia in any way shape or form, and as far as G.DAVIS come on man fight some people or shut up and go count your money. That said G.DAVIS has got street in him and that will pay off if someone lets it out of him.

Bwahaha, these two won't fight anyone that MIGHT beat them. Both duck errbody that they perceive to be a threat.

Won't wba mandate a fight between davis-romero winner and haney-kambo winner, in line with what they've been doing in the other divisions?

Tank Davis would fuck him up! The only thing that King Ry has going for him is power. He's just a pure slugger. He can't box for shit. He has no upper or lower body movement at all. Once Gervonta feels his power and realizes that Ryan cannot hurt him; He's gonna walk him down and then knock him out.

This fight is interesting to me because of the clash of styles and the fact that both of these fighters pass the eye test but are untested to date. Both of them have one or two wins worth gauging them from but questions remain. Are they worth all the hype or is all smoke and mirrors? Somebody’s o has got to go! Make the fight!

No reason why this fight can't happen if and when Tank Davis becomes a free agent.
TMT got nothing for him after the Romero fight.

Generally I agree. I mean Ryan has an attribute apart from power & that is fast hands. Anyone who combines fast hands & power is dangerous. BUT if Ryan's offence is 'A' his defence is 'C-'. If you're going to stand up with your hands down you need to use a lot of head & upper body feints & be fully aware to constantly change angles coming in & going out. So far as I can see, Ryan doesn't do any of that so he looks almost ridiculously easy to hit. His height & reach advantages may cause Tank some issues but if Tank knows he can always just throw something & almost always land then he can take chances getting into Ryan's space. I'm with 'championforever', I just can't see this being very competitive.

lol Ryan Garcia isnt fighting Davis. He is the biggest ***** out there today. Even if they sign the contract he will still get cold feet and back out.
