Greatest Chin In Boxing History is actually James Toney

Dude took BOMBS from middleweight to heavyweight and never got KO'ed. He actually fought Holyfield, Sam Peters and got bombed on. Never got stopped.

It was impressive the way he stood up to Sam Peters.

The upper tier of durability in boxing for me is, Eubank Senior, Tua, Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Carl Froch, Joe Calzaghe etc I could list more, I am sure somebody else will mention other fighters.

Then there is a tier just below the super elite in boxing. I would actually put Lennox Lewis at this level, he fought and beat all the biggest punchers of the 90's.

He had a great chin. Even the great, monster puncher Lucas Browne could not put a dent in him, so had to settle to use his superior boxing skills to outbox Toney 120-108. Nash out.

Eubank Sr would get knocked out by Holyfield and Sam Peter. Are you kidding? Nigel Benn dropped Eubank badly.

Foreman got knocked out by Jimmy Young and Ali.

Tyson got knocked out by Holyfield.

        Tua is a contender.

Can't argue with Toney. He withstood some heavy leather over a very long career. He was very good at rolling with punches but he also had a helluva chin for whenever they landed clean.

Surprisingly coherent. He does speak weird but thoughts are very clear.

I am just going to tell you straight off. I was going to respond with a in depth posts 'But now I am not'.

I don't think I need to debate or prove, that those fighters I have mentioned 'Had all time great durability'.

Also, Chris Eubank Senior was never decked by Nigel Benn. And even if he was, that would not be a take away from his durability etc.

Muhammad Ali is the only fighter to have stopped George Foreman.
