    60 years.

Think of how many world champions Cuba could have had in that time.

No he wasn’t. Bob arum, king and carbo rolled into one was the United States government, the mafia and every other capitalist that rinsed the economic wealth of Cuba while paying them peanuts.

Cubans started getting peanuts when that same United States govt sought retribution for Castro’s booting of exploitative corporations by sanctioning the **** out of them.

If you want Cubans to have a better standard of living, talk to the presidential administrators of the last 63 years that are all responsible for keeping them in penury, not me, and tell them to lift their ***** ass sanctions.

With respect, the United States regime needs to lift their sanctions and to be frank, needs to **** off out of the rest of the world’s business

I don't doubt it. And politics ain't my thing. Not even in my own country. But the chance to go pro and get paid doing what you love can only be a good thing, and here's hoping it'll improve for them over time.

They won’t lift them until the communist regime is out. I started going there when there was no internet or cellphones for the citizens. Only military & gov’t had cellphones. I turned off my phone when going there. Bank cards didn’t work at ATMs. The only place my credit cards worked at were the bank. In Havana Mastercard didn’t work at ATMs. Your credit card didn’t get accepted if the name wasn’t exactly like your passport. My credit card with Joseph K Strong wouldn’t work even though my middle name on my passport was Kelsey. They wouldn’t except it. They would accept joseph Strong though… Everything was a hassle. It was so primitive but I kind of liked it once i knew all the little things to do before going. You actually disappeared off the grid when going there. That slowly changed over time. I believe it was 2012 when citizens could get cellphones. You could buy a brand new flip phone for like $40. I usually rent a private casa but used to stay in hotels & the odd cheap resort. Like hanging in Varadero the best as i know many people there & know lots who travel there. Met many people there over the last decade+…

The day America started doing business with China is when those sanctions should have been lifted.

They all have a hand in that. USA, batista, who opened the door for castro to take over. And yes, USA did the worse. But castro, he was a sob.
