I’m actually impressed with Haney making this fight happen. Most of these prima donnas just think the world should fall too their feet. No risk no gain. Hope Tank,Charlo’s are paying attention.

Who and what is there for him if he didn't take the deal? Nothing. It's not like he's got lots of options. No promoter wants him. He's not a draw, he's a high risk, low reward for most fighters in his weight class. I would have preferred he gets frozen and forced to fight legit fights, not the Gamboa level fights. Why do you think DAZN didn't take extra effort to acquire the fight? Tell me.SplitSecond likes this.

A fighter who gives boxing fans the fights that they want to see and doesn't allow the lack of money, purse splits, platforms or any other type of obstacle to stand in the way from making them happen.
He is a throwback to the Oscar De La hoya, Pernell Whitaker, Sugar Ray Leonard and the Julio Cesar Chavez' days. These men fought whoever was placed in front of them regardless of money or purse splits. They fought for legacy and for the love of the game.

All the greats came back from losses.
