Let me see if I can break this down (I have no bias):

    1. Joel Casamayor - Deserved and wanted a unification. Legit.

    2. Miguel Cotto - Deserved the fight after Mosley win. Legit.

    3. Leonard Dorin - Did he even want that fight?

    4. Acelino Freitas - See #3

    5. Stevie Johnston - Was he relevant when Mayweather moved up?

    6. Antonio Margarito - Deserved and wanted the fight.

    7. Shane Mosley - Wants and deserves the fight, but no one in their right mind would come off a layoff to fight Mosley.

    8. Manny Pacquiao - See #7

    9. Paul Spadafora - This fight was going to get made if not for both being in legal trouble, especially, Spadafora. Shooting a chick in the face are you serious?

    10. Kostya Tszyu - Deserved the fight, haven't found much explanation, but the time period where Mayweather moved up to 140 and the Hatton loss was a year.

Well, in your opnion, did Mitchell deserve it more than Margarito? At the time, was Mitchell a better fight in regards to legacy than Margo?

                    Michael Rosenthal

Some of these are legit and others are just reaching.
                    Stevie Johnston????? Seriously??????

Of all those names I think Paulie Spadaforda would have murked Mayweather a long time ago and Mayweather would have came back and still be a p4p contender but we'd be talking about that lingering loss similar to Pacquiao losing to Morales.

Mitchell was a bout just to adjust to the new weight...nobody gives Floyd credit for that win...

And Margarito wouldn't have done **** for Floyd's legacy...
