They also promised Crawford Pacman in the first Top Rank contract. He probably should have sued Bob not for being a racist, but a major Bullshi##er

That's what's he's paid to do. Period. Remember....Bob also didn't give him the Pac fight that was also promised in the initial contract...people forget that. That was reason he signed with Top Rank in the first place.

Bob's definitely not a racist, but seriously needs to bring in some Fresh eyes to bring them up with the times. Because as you say...this isn't the old days. Top Rank needs to step their game up because they're falling by the wayside.
Top ranks social media team is hands down the best in the game

It's people like Bud that stir up these problems. Was my man , now I just see him as another greedy mindless prat.
I remember there being a lot of rumors back in the day about him saying some questionable things.

This is the part that bothers me. Promoters expect the fighters to fight for them and make them money but expect the fighter to do his own promotion. The fighters job is to prepare and come in the ring 100 percent ready to fight. The promoters job is to sell the fight and get as much money as possible for all parties involved. Arum has been in the business long enough to know that.
You’re paid to promote nowadays. It’s literally in the contracts that you have to do x, y and z on your social media, attend said promotional events. It’s crazy but it’s how business is done these days.

Yeah I think Crawford is an incredible fighter man, but this lawsuit is pathetic. He’s gone down in my estimation by pulling the race card.

How did Crawford link up with Irish mobster Daniel Kinahan?

K2 Promotions did a wonderful job promoting Golovkin. Yet they got criticised for hyping him. But Golovkin couldn't speak English except to say "I do Big Drama Show" - then they got him throwing the first ball at baseball games. But as far as I remember that was it. oh, the 154-168 stuff (though that was his team, not him)

All Crawford had to do was come out with something like "I'm the baddest mother****er between 140 and 154 - all the PBC guys hiding from me, and Top Rank cold have arranged some crossover photoshoots - have Bud giving some boxing classes to some rappers or guitarists (whatever) - have them give lessons to him drumming - I'm making this stuff up - but it's not rocket science.

Point is, Crawford is a better boxer than Golovkin - but Golovkin who can still barely string a sentence together will likely walk away from the sport wealthier than 99% of US fighters active when he was - including Bud.

Crawford and his lawyer should have been more clear.. seems to be lots of interpretations about this situation. Just an opinion, but I think its an Atlanta Hawks type situation "... not enough affluent black fans..." So Bob may not think that certain fighters are not marketable based on their ethnicity and his interpretation of how the markets work. Anyways, if we think of what he said about UFC & MMA guys years ago, one can only imagine his real views on things.

Racism is hard to prove in this case, but incompetence would have been easy.

But doesn't the fighter have to participate in the plan the promoter comes up with?

Crawford refused to do social events that Top Ranked ask of him, Crawford has no other things to do so he had all the time in the world. Look at Pacquiao he was a politician and businessman but whatever Top Rank told him to do in the states he did it and it helped build his audience, he would do goofy **** like casino commercials, pistachio, phone, liquor , commercials, talk shows you name it. Top Rank booked Crawford for multiple talkshows and media events and he refused, they also got him commercials in los angeles but he told them he was focused on the fights. Crawford is going to lose this lawsuit claiming racism when he is the one who refused. The most Crawford did was ****** stuff like instalive on his spare time.
