If his body cant make the weight then what? You want him to keep fighting drained until he loses and gets accused of making weight drained excuses.

      3 fights in 3 years? That's good?

Hearn is just lying here. He didn't get the fight because it wasn't properly backed by DAZN.

As Eve said to Adam, thats a hard one. AJ, Whyte, and Warrington got rematches after getting KOd, but they're with Hearn.

Why would there be a rematch clause if Kambosos wins? I can only see that happening if Haney deserves the rematch and because Kambo is a warrior who was willing to give Teo a rematch despite no clause.

DAZN are definitely being more conservative with their spending now. Obviously they will pay Canelo big money but when they started, they were paying well over the odds for guys like Farmer and Jacobs, but it seems they know that they can’t keep doing that.

Haney is not necessarily a big draw or an exciting fighter, so it seems like they’ve not even made a big attempt to get him to stay.

Eddie and DAZN thought they could throw money at any fighter and attract them but now it seems that’s not an option, so even their champs and better known fighters are moving on.

I think the reason they threw so much money at Canelo is based on them staying relevant, they’re pretty much treading water without him. It hasn’t been the game changer they thought, even here in the UK it’s not getting the exposure that Sky does. The biggest fight in the UK this year will happen next month and Hearn has no involvement, when’s the last time you could say that?

Thing I didn't understand with Hearn throwing money was why 10x more, not 2x? I can't even come up with anything more to say after that first sentence. It's just so mind-boggling to me.

Maybe they felt DAZN was going to acquire more sports in USA, so they were aggressive with boxing to start with.

Same in the UK, they were doing to be buying BT sports, which would’ve included premier league and champions league, which would have been huge, but it’s no longer happening and now they only have boxing still,

DAZN will be ok, they are global and have rights to a lot of sports in some big markets like Germany and Japan. But in terms of boxing, I don’t think they’ve had the success they expected. But boxing is a fragmented sport, so it’s much more difficult than buying a single entity like UFC, NBA or whatever.
