Dont make sense to move up immediately should he beat kombosos. Its one more fight with Kombosos and then a mega bragging rights fight with loma. Could even end with a loma rematch if 1st fight is entertaining enough. Tanks coming out from Floyds claws it seems, ryan seems to be getting back on track... maybe over the next 12-24 months we get all the fights we want to see between the top 135 pounders.

And yet by going on a deal by deal basis Matchroom allowed the door to remain open and be able to chase the undisputed on other platforms if necessary. Hardly sleazebags. As opposed to PBC, who would have wanted a long term deal, and not allowed cross promotion, in order to keep his title hostage. How's it working out for Davis? Sounds like a good plan. I don't much care who promotes him, I just wanna see the fights. But it's getting really tight for him at the weight they say, so maybe moving up will be necessity.

I couldn’t label myself a Haney fan, but he should be commended for keeping himself away from golden handcuff deals with networks.
Regardless of who he was working with for his last few fights.

He’s ensured Networks cannot be the reason for a fight not happening. I can only admire and respect that.
