Kambosos stood no chance against Lopez either pre-fight, but look what happened. I'm one of those who thought he stood no chance!
Kiko Martinez stood no chance against Kid Gallahad

Haney should win on paper. That's why they have a rematch clause in and that's why the rematch is in Australia.

Obviously not the same financial scale, but this reminds me of Floyd taking the odh fight.

When you’re a low reward, high risk fighter looking to make the leap , you gotta man up and take crap deals to get the big names in the ring.

The other great thing is Haney doing this exposes a ton of posters on NSB. Haney should be celebrated and applauded for this- especially as much as the other top LW’s avoided him- rather than criticized.

I hope Haney pulls the upset so Loma, Tank and Ryan can’t avoid him anymore.
I hope he wins the fight and vacates and moves up, although I would like to see him fight Loma. Just screw all these dudes over and leave the vacant straps. The sad part is even if he does that he is still contractually obligated to Dibella/Arum and ESPN. Talk about a crap deal.

He should get all the props in the world though for sacrificing. But you know people won't give him his just due

We all get you’re a diehard Pac fan who hates the fact he lost to Floyd and then Ugas on PBC. But to blame anyone other than Crawford for that is idiotic.

You also would never condone a rematch like this if it was done by a pbc boxer. We get it- you hate pbc and want their boxers to lose every time.
To even attempt to stay that pbc ruined Crawford’s career invalidates anything this guy could ever say about pbc…..

You are right and I agree but Haney is no Lopez. He is a pure boxer who is fundamentally sound with exceptional skills. There’s no scenario that I can see Kambosos beating Haney on the cards. Lopez chose to square up and slug it out with him toe to toe; Which left him vulnerable and very easy to find and hit. Devin Isn”t going to fight him like that.

The aussie should have won his last 3 fights by ud but had one terrible judge in each of those fights.

Ironically he probably gets a ud this time in a fight much closer fight than his last 3.

Yeah, I agree, Haney should win - but Kambosos is in with a chance

The options with ESPN are endless if he can win:
Stevenson-Valdez winner, if they move up.
                Loma.
                Lopez @ 140.
                Maybe Taylor @ 140.
Possibly Davis with a collaborative PPV.
                Sky's the limit for Haney.
