It's funny you have to insult anybody not named Haney, yet I am the fanboy? Take a look in the mirror. Haney is the fake champ, paying WBC for that fake belt. It's hilarious and it riles you up every time he's called what he is. He's the man who never beat the man and was mailed a trinket. Only you and maybe his other 4 or 5 fans call him champ.

Was this fight supposed to be a simulcast. It sounds like Lou Dibella has already signed the broadcasting rights of the fight over to ESPN already; Which is probably why DAZN is balking at the deal.

The contract Loma signed to fight Kambosos was for the fight to take place on ESPN with Top Rank as the lead promoter all Lou Dibella did was erase Loma name from the contract & put Haney name in it's place DAZN was never a option & neither was Matchroom.

If it’s a 3-fight deal on ESPN then yeah **** that. If you’re hitting the prime of your career then you don’t want to put it in the hands of your opponent’s promoter/network. And isn’t Loma already on ESPN with Bob? So surely it’s not quite the same as dragging Haney across from DAZN.

Hearn’s rematch clauses are BS too. Canelo’s deals are different, that guy is 100% in control of his opponents, career and network he wants to fight on - other fighters don’t have that luxury. 2 fights where he knows exactly who he’s fighting and what he’s making (a lot) is his actual choice and the deal is structured to attract him in not as a bait and switch.

I cant understand the fascination with boxing gossip, politics on this boxing site. People actuality enjoy commenting on this stuff. Make the fight or don’t. Don’t care about the why’s? Or why nots, just tell me the outcome and save all your gossip for the women on here on a gossip board.
