Canelo will be fighting Bivol. Beterbiev will be fighting a guy Bivol beat.

I'm speaking of course of Joe Smith Jr.

So who is taking the tougher fight here? Seems pretty obvious, but I notice Beterbiev fans actually have the nerve to criticize Canelo's opposition.

The double standards and lack of self awareness are mind boggling.

Styles makes fights. Beterbiev is not fast footed and likes to ****, this match will be fun until it lasts.

It's a unification fight and Bivol is already fighting Canelo.

Who else should Beterbiev fight if Bivol and Canelo are unavailable?

Don't forget that Beterbiev is the only one who has unified at 175, and he's the one who has the lineal championship by beating Gvozdyk who beat Stevenson.

Why didnt Beterbiev fight Bivol before, while Canelo was unifying 168?

But that aside, my main point is that it takes some real logical gymnastics to criticize Canelo's opposition when their favorite guy is fighting someone Canelo's opposition beat.

Beterbiev is fighting in a title unification bout. Who is he supposed to fight? Canelo didn't want to fight him, he chose Bivol instead. Not knocking Canelo's fight with Bivol, it's a good fight and a Bivol is the 2nd best Lt HW, but there really isn't a basis for comparison here. Beterbiev is doing what he is supposed to do right now.

Why didn't Beterbiev fight Bivol before, while Canelo was unifying in another division?

And where do Beterbiev fans get off criticizing Canelo's quality of opposition?

                don't play dense

Canelo can get anyone to fight him, due to the financial benefits, so he has sole responsibility for his opposition. Other fighters have limited opportunity to choose their opponents.

The question you should ask yourself is: "Why did Caneloroid chose Bivol instead of Beterbiev ?

Bivol vs Canelo will be a good fight... I lean on Bivol to clinch it...

Beterbiev vs Smith will be an exciting fight... Up until Smith can't take it anymore...

Bivol vs Beterbiev will happen after... And Beterbiev will become undisputed with a 100% KO ratio ..

Bivol didn't want to touch Beterbiev with a 10ft pole since as long as I can remember... Can't blame him ...

That's a nice sounding excuse, but it isn't why Beterbiev hasn't fought Bivol.
