Canelo will be fighting Bivol. Beterbiev will be fighting a guy Bivol beat.

Arum Pours Cold Water Over Beterbiev-Bivol: That Fight Has No Pizzazz; Bivol Is Sort Of Boring
Why are you so dump don't you know that boxers like Beterbiev or Bivol don't have much leverage to choose their opponents it is solely up to their promoters /managers and Arum already stated that the fight between Beter and Bivol won't happen as it won't be sold out

          So let's assume I'm Bivol.
          Or even Beterbiev.

I'm given the choice of fighting Beterbiev / Bivol for a unification on one hand.

On the other you're offered a massive payday against a naturally smaller ( debatable ) Canelo.

I wouldn't blame either for taking the Canelo pay day.

But Canelo calls the shots on who he fights.

Let's stop subtly Implying that Beterbiev wanted no part of Bivol.

I'd chose Beterbiev to KO Bivol.
And if they were to fight in the next year. I'd chose him to beat and possibly stop Canelo too.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Joe smith jr vs Bieterbiev fight more so than Canelo vs Bivol.

Smith and bieterbiev is gonna be a tough and fun to watch slugfest.

The thing is that when Canelo wasn't an option, when there was no "massive payday on the other hand," Beterbiev and Bivol still didn't try to unify. Even though that was the biggest fight in the 175 lbs division.

You have to take those high risk, low reward fights. Just like Canelo did with Austin Trout and Erislandy Lara.

Not impossible but much more likely Beterbiev knocks out Smith.

So who is taking the tougher fight here? Seems pretty obvious, but I notice Beterbiev fans actually have the nerve to criticize Canelo's opposition.

The double standards and lack of self awareness are mind boggling.
Canelo chose Bivol not Beterbiev. It’s kind of chicken shyte of you to make it sound like Beterbiev is dodging quality opposition while your hero is fighting Bivol. So who’s the best opponent for Beterbiev if it isn’t Smith?

Canelo chose the biggest financial deal he was offered, which was from DAZN to obviously fight DAZN fighters.

Beterbiev's promoter dodged Bivol because "that fight has no pizzazz; Bivol is sort of boring." From his own mouth.

Quit dodging the question. If Beterbiev doesn’t get the Canelo fight (he didn’t), who is the best fighter he could face if it isn’t Smith? You’re trying to make it sound like Beterbiev is dodging quality opposition because a couple of idiots criticized Canelo for fighting Bivol. And that’s chicken shyte on your part.
