And this is also right. I said a while back that I reckoned a lot of boxers weren’t scared of fighting opponents, but that a lot were either simply (a) happy to have little input into their career, kick back, and let their team sought ****, or (b) in some kind of intellectual hock to the word smithery of the promoters.
Not to mention, boxing’s often taken up people with few other life chances, and little education. Some of these guys are getting ****ed in contracts. Can imagine some have no say whatsoever in who they fight
