He should fight the biggest guys out there, no matter who promotes them. Floyd himself proved that a fighter should be his own promoter, it's time for Tank to follow that blueprint.

And this is also right. I said a while back that I reckoned a lot of boxers weren’t scared of fighting opponents, but that a lot were either simply (a) happy to have little input into their career, kick back, and let their team sought ****, or (b) in some kind of intellectual hock to the word smithery of the promoters.

Not to mention, boxing’s often taken up people with few other life chances, and little education. Some of these guys are getting ****ed in contracts. Can imagine some have no say whatsoever in who they fight

I think Davis knows Rolly is a risky fight for no big reward. I think he'd rather roll the dice against Loma, Haney, Teo.. someone of note. HeII I remember 2 years ago Floyd had him in front of camera after his Japanese Kick boxing expo. He'd just made all this money and attention against an unknown and Davis was still on the shelf waiting his turn. Floyd goes on to say something along the lines of we are going to get you paid/these kind of money fights too.. That still hasn't happened.

The other promotional outfits are doing the same thing they just aren’t saying it. Oscar just turned down a title fight for Mungia for the exact same reason. And when Floyd made the in-house comments I think he was just flexing his muscles a little bit. It was just after a successful event in Atlanta that ended with an amazing knockout. They went after Ryan Garcia and he’s not an in-house fighter. Ryan’s also the only fighter big enough to even consider doing any kind of cross promotion with. Teo, Haney, and Loma aren’t big enough which is why neither of them are viable options right now. Unless one of them wants to come over to Showtime.

Pretty sure we’ve seen this episode before. Last time he actually called Floyd out.

At this point I think this kid no longer needs Floyd & is popular enough to where he could leave & do his own thing with Al & PBC.

Exactly...there you go! Rhianna Garcia and Mungia are going through the same thing if not worse. The fact is the 135 division is going through the same thing the 160 div is going through. It has been completely walled off by DAZN. The most lucrative fights at 153 are Tank v Ryan v Devin and DAZN is preventing all three. Tank v Loma v Teo aint happening because Arum is not doing biz with Al on those fights. This is no thru fault of Floyd. Someone needs to remind lil TankTank that if it was not for AB introducing him to PPVweather then he would still be a lil big white T-shirt YO boy riding around in stolen cars in the westside of Baltimore. Floyd / Ellerbe / Espinoza made him a PPV (debatable) star and he should thank his lucky stars that he is in the position he is. Ryan is only popular because he rides with Oscar. Tank is only popular because he rides with PPVweather. People, please do not bite the hand that feeds you. If lil tanktank wants to leave Showtime then please leave. BOOTS IS THE NEXT ONE UP! Please tanktank go ahead and do it on your own, we have seen this 1000x's times before. They will find someone to replace you and you will be right back on the corner in front of the on Pratt street carryout/ liquor store in no time. WAR - Showtime / Espinoza / Boots / PPVweather / Roy Jones / American boxing / Mike Tyson. Fuq all haters! So please lil tanktank, take your services to "south beach". See how that works out for you. Showtime will be just fine without you. They have the backing of CBS. You have the backing of..........no one. Please talk to Crawford, Andrade and Devin. You are not wanted from them. You will only get used. You disloyal YO BOY!!!

“On Wednesday, Davis wrote, “they put my tickets on sale one month before like I’m f------- Michael Jackson or something.””

Tank made a rare honest comment about star power. Most fighters, promoters and trainers toot their own horn or their fighter’s own horn.

Tank was just brutally honest instead of lying about what sales figures he will get and how big of a draw he is.

I have never seen this before. Everyone always exaggerates predictions for their sales. This makes Tank different right off the bat.

Props to Tank! If Floyd has too much pride to work with other promoters, which is killing Tank, then BOUNCE! Beat Romero, then play your position with the WBA, and get the winner of Kambosos vs. Haney ASAP!

Nash respects Mr. Tank, he always has done. He will end up as King of the current Kings. Mayweather should just leave the promoting to somebody else, but I would like him to carry Tank's bucket, and even give him some corner advice like he did vs Barrios. In time I think Mayweather could go from bucket carrier to trainer, but he needs to earn his way there, not like that fame-seeking clown, Boxercise Ben, who got took to school by Jamie Moore. Nash out.
