I dunno, I never felt like Cobbs trash talk was overly offensive (like a Broner). It was WWF professional wrestling schtick. I normally don't go for that but I liked it with Blair. His "flair" got him to a point where he was headlining a televised card.

Unlike wrestling, it's not scripted and he fought a good opponent with a standout amateur career. He caught the "L", it happens. I hope Cobbs comes back and doesn't change a a thing win, lose or draw.

        - - Cobbs overperformed enough in bouts, bubbles personality, and weirdo backstory roar to the front of the pack, but wif power belonging in the grrl division and that pencil neck, well, he got slammed head first into his level.

Maybe hang on fighting a few elderly fringes and hope he can catch a break against an English marshmallow holding a trinket and cash out.

Cobbs should really try out for WWE or AEW, he does have a great personality he just doesn't have the Boxing Skills to back it up unfortunately for him

This is what happens when they count their eggs before they hatch.

I didn't watch the fight. Is this similar to the Chris Colbert vs Hector Garcia fight?

              Meh.

Trash talking is fun win, lose or draw.

That was my first time seeing Cobbs and I was entertained tbh. Didnt seem like a great fighter but I would still be interested in seeing him again because hes a big character and had enough ability to not be 100% gimmick.

Your way off on this one P,Its not that he was offensive or wrong for trash talking,he got his ass kicked worse because he trashed talked about going to war toe 2 toe,& it motivated his opponent to whoop his ass with extra motivation & by going to war the way he gave him the blueprint for by miscalculating that it would be his downfall.

(theres a lineage of fighters who did the same thing & lost but this on another level of shîttalk gone wrong,(cough,Wilder, ggg cough)

Fair play. I'm not saying it was the wisest course of action but Cobbs has been a flawed fighter for a while. I'm not sure he would have had the opportunities he's had if he was quiet and went about his business without the schtick. I'm also not sure it would have changed the result of Saturday night's fight either.
