Wouldn’t shock me at all if Chisora beats Ruiz! Especially if Ruiz fights like he did against Arreola, Arreola almost beat him that night and Chisora is a similar type of brawler.

Good point about Chisora, it’s also worth considering that a lot of his losses can be broke down like so:

Fury, Vitali Klitschko, Usyk - fair enough. Who wouldn’t lose?

Helenius, Parker 1 - definitely jobbed in the Helenius one, open for debate in the Parker fight, personally I thought he won it clean.

Whyte, Pulev - in an alternate dimension where Chisora is the A side he would’ve had his hand raised (yes even Whyte 2, Chisora was forced to get reckless thanks to a dodgy point deduction)

      Haye etc- just got beat.

Casuals crow about his losses but the truth is that if Chisora lived Ruiz’s career it would read the same (bar the 1st Joshua fight probably), so it would be an excellent fight. Maybe a couple years too late though for Derek.

Del Boy has a lot of losses but his level of competition has been extremely high since his 14th fight. Fighters are green from 15-20 fights. Chisora was thrown to the rows at an early age of his career. Big thing to consider here when bringing up his losses.

Also don't forget that Chisora just got dropped THREE TIMES by Parker, and Parker can't crack an egg.
Chisora beating the ghost of Danny Williams is better than Liakhovich. At least Danny beat a washed up Tyson. Serg best win is Lamont lol?

Del Boy stopped a prime and undefeated Malik Scott, not too shabby.

Parker has a 65% ko ratio, hardly feather fisted. Liakhovich was extreme feather fisted at 47% and Chrissy ******* has a 68%.

I love Arreola but I only gave him 3 rounds. Ruiz settled down & outboxed him the rest of the way but The nightmare gave a good account of himself.

that is the problem. Too many boxrec posters. They judge a guy by looking at boxrec & have more than likely not seen half the fights they comment on…

Unless Andy can cut back on the chimichangas, Chisora is a long night for him. Andy’s hand speed and power may once have been better than Dillian Whyte’s, but he’s going to have to be light and mobile enough to evade. Dell only knows one word in the ring: grind.

But if Eddie Hearn wants to make this fight for Chisora, well? Is Chisora going to have the intention of actually winning? The reason why I say this, is because I don't think Chisora goes into big fights 100% with he intention of winning. Because deep down, he knows that if he survives and makes the fight competitive 'His reputation and product is still intact'.

There was a reason why Chisora left David Haye. David Haye was a fighter who most of the time, knew how to win. I don't think Chisora could cope with the intensity and demands of what Haye was asking for 24/7. Chisora went along with it for awhile, and as a bi-product Chisora did have some great performances.

But I just feel like Chisora now, has retracted backwards. And he will be content with just getting these big fights, surviving and doing what he does.

All the best to him, as he has created a market for himself. But if he wants to win these big fights, I think he has to team back up with ether David Haye or Don Charles.
Based on his own recent form would you have any confidence in Joshua to conclusively beat down Ruiz Jr?

I have no confidence in him and feel a non obese Ruiz Jr remains a huge threat to him.

I must admit I do like some of the new attitude I'm seeing and also the company he's keeping in Chisora and Clarke being a bit rougher than the AJ hangers on we are used to seeing.

                  Chisora's losses:
                  Fury twice
                  Helenius
                  Klitschko
                  Haye
                  Pulev
                  Whyte twice
                  Kabayel
                  Usyk
                  Parker twice
Win or lose, looking at that resume all I can think is that is one of the better ones in HW right now. Good for Chisora.

However, I will not pick him against Ruiz. Or Arreola. Or Ortiz. Or DuBois. Or near anyone else. I picked him against Parker, who had looked uninspired and lackluster in all his fights for like 2 years. I figured a man like Chisora who continued to fight big names was due, and Parker was ripe to be picked off. Yet someone Parker looked like a top 3 HW and 10 years younger against him. The guy is a warrior, but his skill set is not enough to beat anyone. He is done, he just does not know it yet.

Joshua would beat down Ruiz Junior from start to finish. Yes he was beaten by Usyk, but? There are positives he could take from that fight.

To a certain degree, he survived Usyk's offensive bombardment. Joshua did fight the wrong kind of fight, but lets not makes things up 'Joshua busted up Usyk, even while fighting a tentative offensive fight'.

I just believe Ruiz Junior has regressed way more than Joshua. His move to team Alvarez, has not quite benefited him like he would of expected.

This super light Ruiz Junior, I honestly think is a worst fighter. He would be absolutely battered by Joshua.

What a victory that would be, what a event. Joshua needs to stand up to Ruiz Junior, and conclusively beat him.

Joshua got the win in the second fight, but it was by no means a conclusive win.

Anthony Joshua needs to beat down Ruiz Junior, like he stole his lunch money. Let it all out, push Ruiz Junior around outside the ring as well.

Set a example to all the people who think he is a push over.
