I do want to see it. But that doesn't mean it'll happen. I just try to see what's in it for the fighters. It doesn't make sense for Avanesyan, so why make so much noise about it? Does it make sense for Benn? Yes, more so for him. But not in terms of rankings, but more in terms of getting respect and credibility. But Benn won't get that anyway. It doesn't matter who he fights, the haters will find fault. Avanesyan is a step forward, but he's not the be all and end all. There's plenty of other step up fights out there. If Avanesyan had no UK connections, nobody would even be mentioning this guy for Benn, so why is it so important he fights him? Because the Warrenites who all hate Benn say so? Lmao. i don’t even think they wanted the Brook fight. It was being talked about, then they noticed Brook might at least have something in the tank and those talks quickly stopped, probably blaming it on Brook. 70% Brook still beats Conor Benn and they know it, plus he isn’t feather fisted.
