Probably because Boots will spank him hell Boots will spank all the welters not named Spence or Crawford IMO and I honestly feel like the kid has a reasonable chance at beating those 2. He is the next big thing in boxing if given his chance I believe!

Which ever way Hearn tries to dress this up it's a swerve on any real competition .Remember Hearn was trying to get faded hospital/jailbird Broner who is at this time wheelchair bound. It's Hearn who is slating Benn as the face of DAZN and the next coming , so surely he should be looking at European level at least but Hearn knows David Avanesyan the European champion would wipe the floor with the 'face' of DAZN!

I wanna see Benn, Boots and Ortiz fight a Thurman or Porter ( sadly he retired ) or even a Danny Garcia and see what these kids are holding. I think when the dust settles Boots will reign supreme.
Brook vs Benn should of been at 149 pounds or 154 pounds. Benn stated that he would move up to 154 pounds.

I think Eddie Hearn backed out of the fight, or advised Benn to retreat.

The fight was there to be made, Brook & Ingle where very positive about the fight.

Ennis is a nobody so it doesn’t take much wondering why anyone would prefer Benn over him.
And has Ennis called out Avanesyan? Happy to call out all the champs while beating on 5’5 bums doe.

Wasn’t Ennis in line for an eliminator vs Avanesyan should Ortiz not be available? Instead he’s fighting some other nobody in Custio Clayton. Clearly, despite near 30 fights, a top 10 opponent is still too scary for scary Boots Ennis.

Are you saying the WBC ordered Ennis-Avanesyan? Ennis-Clayton in an IBF eliminator.

Classic promoter snake oil served here! Should've just offered Ennis the fight instead of choosing Van Heerden if he wants to compare Benn to Ennis.

Nobody's wanted to see Van Heerden for a long time now....even when he fought Ennis. If anything, most thought of it as a stepping stone and knew it would be over rather quickly and forgotten even quicker.

I'm not against Benn facing Van Heerden because he fights often enough to do it, but still......

Brook asked for 10 million but they were prepared to negotiate so it might still happen but Kahn asking for a rematch and step aside to avoid it which would have been insane,

Fight may still happen but Brook needs to free himself from the rematch clause .

I don't think he's trying to compare Ennis to Benn he's actually an Ennis fanbois.

What he can compare Benn to is Ennis's record which is relatively weak, Ennis is up to what 28 fights and Benn is 20 with no amateur record so if you're not ok with this fight you've got to have serious issue with Boots record and for the record I'm not saying the current Benn beats Ennis, Ortiz, Crawford or Spence.

Just because he was on with, Ennis,
doesn’t mean anyone wants to see Benn in with him as well
