    Who will be next cash cow and face of boxing?

    De La Hoya --> Mayweather --> Canelo --> ?

    Who will be next part of puzzle after Canelo retires? Jaron Ennis and Tank Davis look candidate but they are already 25 and 27. And their resume is trash asf. Ryan Garcia is Instagram model. Vergil Ortiz is my candidate.

    Blair Cobbs, easily. People DEFINITELY wanna see him get his funky head busted in. It's like watching Carrot Top, but not as tough.

      He is older than Canelo and lost to a gatekeeper yesterday.

            Ennis, Zayas, Vergil Ortiz and obviously Ryan Garcia all have star potential IF they can deliver in the ring. Berlanga too but hes not looking so great recently. Teo had so much momentum but hes seemingly ****ed it up already.

              No Manny Pacquiao in your previous face of Boxing Cash Cow???

              I think Canelo Alvarez is going to hold onto that spot for a long time... Next in line Shakur Stevenson, Jaron Ennis and I still think Teofimo Lopez has a good chance at really making a strong comeback after the Kambosos performance.

                I don’t think the current boxing landscape is built to have another big PPV star come up.
                Canelo came up in the last era of HBO showcasing fighters and making them more mainstream draws.
                It will be tough for a young fighter to break through as boxing is as niche a sport as its ever been.

                    I don't think that is bad for the sport, boxers need to fight more to make a living like the old days. If a new sensation comes up he will always be a star, that Mayweather mentality has ruined this generation, you know the names. But there is just too much fascination if a true master in the art of hit and not getting hit comes along.
