No one's celebrating it. Gennadiy has every right to a third fight. These guys are in such a privileged position (and have been) and are doing jack **** in the hopes of getting Canelo and/or Golovkin. I don't know what these guys are going to do if Golovkin were to theoretically retire in a years time. They all won't dare fight each other. Take G out of the picture and you got a pretty pathetic group of guys in and around Canelo's weight class.

Andrade is the worst managed fighter the last 5-10 years - he has no resume whatsoever and brings no money - Charlo Golovkin Benavidez Canelo want no part of him and it's not because he is some killer talent.

Charlo should have fought Andrade at either 154 or 160. Charlo won't step up to 168 to fight weight bully Benavidez but I haven't heard him being vocal about fighting Plant either.

Charlo could have gone after Murata - but oh, wait, lets guess, Golovkin has at least some kind of profile in Japan and I'm guessing Charlo has next to no profile.

160 is a dead division which is why Canelo left and Andrade is at least challenging himself a bit against Parker - but truth is all of them want that Canelo payday.

When a fighter reaches 40 every fight is a risk.

It’s cute he acts like he would have a say in any details of a third Canelo fight.
          Guys been irrelevant since 2018.
He’ll take the offer given or not. End of story.

Why is Canelo fighting an irrelevant fighter? Cherry pick?

I mean that division has been pathetic for a very long time not much has changed and they all saw that Golovkin didn’t do much either to get the Alvarez payday. They are just following his footsteps, get a belt and sit around doing jack sht till they called. Funny when Golovkin was fighting no hopers after no hopers not many of his fans criticized him or called him a cherry picker in fact they all praised him for defending his tittles yet when he lost that second fight to Alvarez they all of a sudden realized that the division is weak and now got all loud criticizing Alvarez as a cherry picker who actually unified all belts in less than a year. Something that Golovkin based his entire career around and never accomplished, and now that his old he “earned” the right to keep fighting no hopers after no hopers

I'd hardly consider fighting 3-4 times a year against multiple top 10 guys, doing "jack ****." He built his brand big enough that it made the Canelo fight the biggest to make in boxing so I'd argue against saying he didn't do much to earn a shot at Alvarez. It wasn't the deepest division but he can only fight who's willing to get in the ring with him. He didn't have the high purse reward that Canelo brings. You're definitely rewriting history with most of what you're writing. And what does Canelo unifying so quickly have to do with anything? He's always been in a much better position than Golovkin. He can fight anyone he wants as guys will willingly drop what they're doing. Look how hard it was to get guys in the ring with Golovkin when he was in his early 30's. Two entirely different situations. I mean ****, you're talking about how quickly Alvarez unified, when your guy dropped his belt. Of course unifying for Gennadiy was always more difficult.

There should be nothing much to discuss.

I am surprised Alvarez is coming back to this fight. This is a big opportunity for Golovkin.

I think he should fight Alvarez at 168 or 175 pounds.

It cannot be good for Alvarez coming back down again to 168 pounds. Not only does Alvarez weight drain himself to be the big man.

But he is constantly changing weight divisions, all of this eventually will have negative affects on his performance.

I think Alvarez is struggling already, I have seen the signs.
