Smfh. Charlo needs Munguia more than Munguia needs charlo. This could be his breakthrough fight just like Spencer and stank had theirs with Mexican fighters.

Wrong. PBC wanted showtime PPV in America and DAZN PPV in Europe and Mexico. No way should Oscar settle for this arrangement. Munguia is a future superstar who eventually will fight the the Main Man in a mega fight. Charlo doesn’t have much to offer in resume, popularlty, or revenue stream. Munguia is looked at as a much better fighter and Charlo will stay in obscurity.

This has to be the funniest chit I've seen on this site in a long time. Mungia may be a superstar in Acapulco or Monterrey, but no one knows this guy north of the Rio Grande. Everyone in America only knows Charlo because he fights on Showtime which is the de facto network for American boxing. DAZN didn't put in any cash = B side. This is how it works in the US. DAZN is a ship that's sinking and all of it's fighters are drowning with it. They are desperately asking Espinoza to throw them a lifeline. HELLZ NO! Let them sink and die. They came over here in 2018 and brazenly claimed that they were putting Showtime and ESPN out of biz. My point was Golden boy continuously pulls the same nonsense by acting like they’re negotiating in good faith only to find out they pulled some slick sh** to not make the fight. Whether it’s low ball offers with no Ppv upside (like they did to ggg) to pretend like they want to make a fight, pretending someone else priced themselves out only to find out it was them who never had any real intention of making the fight (like they did to Isaac Cruz) or just flat out not letting their fighters take title shots for fear of watching them lose like he did for munguia with Andrade and Ryan Garcia with Haney. There’s always some bullshet with them. So spare me their lame ass rationale about what the hold up is because there’s always a hold up with them, ya phag.
