Oh okay. I personally don’t care where they show it just hope the fight doesn’t slip away because of petty network issues.

my guess is if Oscar wants it on DAZN PPV he must be willing to put some money up. Who knows, who cares let’s just get it done. If you ask me, both guys need each other, their runs at 160 have been pretty weak thus far

De La Hoya continues to prove he is absolutely negligent. He was my idol as a kid, but he could fu0ck up making a grilled cheese sandwich at this point.
I don’t know if Munguia can beat Adames (never watched him), but if he does. Can Charlo even fight off PBC/Showtime in a case of DAZN winning the mandatory purse-bid? Either they get Charlo on DAZN, or they get the belt without a fight. I’m assuming this is what Oscar is vying for and this is the reason for this PBC play to prevent that. Hilarious.

If Mungia and Haymon can't come to an agreement before a purse bid, the WBC will make Charlo the Franchise Champion and Mungia the Regular Champion.

1000%. No chance anyone gets stripped. The fight just wont happen.

The WBC made the Franchise belt exactly for situations like this - when the champion and #1 contender can't come to an agreement due to being on rival networks and or/have exclusive TV deals.

It's a ****ing disgrace but it is what it is.

It’s hard enough to get fights signed
Now , it’s cause of the Networks
Its like wow , you figure after Covid and not making money , they would loosen up and just try to earn
Not sure why but this whole thing looks as sketchy as chit

Oscar's been in the game long enough to know you don't negotiate through the public....regardless of how "respectful" it sounds. That tweet from Oscar said it all...saying that they're "willing and able to collaborate" and ending it with, "I hope ShoSports is on board."

Sir....let's make this as succinct as possible....whether there is beef or not, one should NEVER commence to gaslighting and virtue signaling of any sort. "Hey, we already signed our contract...we're just waiting on (insert fighter's name here) to sign his contract."

It's passive aggressive and a sign that the other is side is getting "sonned" (or put in one's place). I'm not saying Showtime has network beef with DAZN or anybody else, but, if these fantasy fights are hanging ever so loosely onto each side's ego, then stuff like this tweet can serve as a barrier.

Again, I'm not saying Oscar's intentionally in the wrong here, but he may want to chill with the "nice guy" stuff and "we're doing our part, they aren't" approach. We all know Mungia's not gonna fight anybody of note, so why even believe this whole Charlo "negotiations" stuff is just a fart in the wind. They probably haven't even called that man.

Do you think it's smarter having to beat Charlo twice and then having to deal with the flunky Adames as mandatory?

Charla continuing to duck everyone. Just wants to fight waitresses and cab drivers and cry about the Canelo payday.

Well they've turned down the Adames fight.

As it turns out - it appears there's no strategy in place at all here.

Oscar released a video from his hotel room the other night pleading with PBC/Showtime that he "needs for DAZN to be allowed to to participate in the PPV" for the fight to happen.

                      He's a mess.
