Plant should've set up a different fight first.

Fighting Jacobs, Dirrell, Ryder or something first.

    THEN fighting Benavidez.

I still don't think Plant has the experience enough.

He faded against Canelo because he didn't have the experience to know what to do and how to adjust in the deep water; in the late rounds. It really makes all the difference.

He'll probably look like a clean boxer, shifty, snappy in the first half and then start fading. Start sitting behind that one-up, one-down guard with flat feet and get beat up in Benavidez's comfort range.

Well, I can see Plant asking Benavidez in about round number 9 if he respects his skills and in round 10 Plant finds a comfortable spot on the canvas to lay down for that ultimate 10 count.

I'd personally be proud to say the only guy that beat me in the ring just so happens to be the best in the world right now.
A lot of fighters are protected, until they get that big title shot against someone legit. That was the case with Plant. He didn't just lose to a pound for pound, he showed he doesn't belong at the top. My take away from the Canelo fight: He will lose against Mungia, Benavidez, GGG, and Andrade (and he's the bigger guy).

Sometimes all it takes is one loss to reveal a boxer's truth.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Why doesn't Plant step in the ring with Saunders? I rather see that fight. Let the winner of that fight continue their career.

Maybe it happens this time around. Last time it could've been made- benavidez ducked Plant. Those in the know, know this to be true.

With that said, I'll be rooting for Benavidez In this one. Unlike Plant, he hasn't sold his A$$ to Canelo.....yet....

No way Plant’s team takes this fight on a year layoff coming off a knockout. Not without an interim fight first.

You’re a goddamn idiot. Mungia’s afraid of his own shadow, GGG is 200 years old, and Andrade can’t even look good against the bums he’s fighting. Benavidez could’ve fought Plant years ago but his team wanted to build the fight up. It wasn’t until Benavidez lost his title that he even spoke Plants name.

Nothing's worse than a punk that talks slick through computer waves. No need to name call. We're only debating.

He hasn't even an ass to sell to Canelo lol. He is beltless bum. At least Plant defended his IBF belt lots of times and lost to best fighter on the planet.
