Haha. Wilder’s been bashed up 3 times in a row by the only decent opponent he’s ever faced. That same Wilder, who doesn’t have one notable win himself (you can say Ortiz, but that guy ran a mile when offered the AJ lottery win) is the only notable win on Fury’s resume. Fury’s had to be dragged kicking and screaming through court just to fight AJ’s leftovers that he KO’d years ago. And the funny thing is, Whyte is Fury’s 3rd best opponent by a mile.

AJ is definitely a big stiff bodybuilder with a big whiff of Frank Bruno about him, and I don’t like him as a fighter or a person, but still his only outstanding loss is to Usyk who’d give Fury nightmares and run through every other name at HW.

He’s the only fighter who’s consistently fought top 10 opponents, Fury stans can call them old and washed up or whatever, but that just makes Fury’s opponents look even worse cos he has fought lower ranked fighters than those his entire career, apart from 2 names. Everything else is a fantasy win in his fans heads

Solid chin, ramrod jab and a pressure fighter. Bad style for AJ.

as a joshua fan over the years, im literally gobsmacked by this...
i rate joyce highly, no chance aj can stop him in 12 let alone 1 and it's more than likely joyce would stop aj.
joyce is overall boring but im also a fan of his...he is a good guy. ive always laughed at the likes of wilder and fury bragging when i think joyce would break them apart literally (priob why fury's going to retire but only take an aj fight when it's offered, he wants no part of usyk or joyce).

also aj bringing up sparring is interesting....given joyce literally became known a few years ago as the guy who dropped joshua in sparring.

usyk, joyce, fury, aj....that's where it's at.
wilder is actually way below. the likes of whyte, parker, hrgovic, mahmudov, jalolov, daniel dubois and i swear even hughie fury would batter him.

Bit of a hypocrite there is AJ, Whyte beat him up in the amatuers yet when they fought pro Whyte got stopped.

So you may have beaten Joyce in amatuers but its a different ball game 12-13 years later. Especially seeing as one of the two (the Watford man) has taken a beating twice in the pros. That weakens punch resistence.

Joyce hits hard, but effortlessly. He doesn't seem to have to sit down or swing particularly viciously and his opponents are sparked out. If AJ had enough discipline, he should jab the **** out of Joyce, but I suspect Joyce would spark him out very easily. Joyce is a heavy heavy handed puncher, but deceptively so.

I've had a gut full of anyone bigging up AJ's resume when he's never faced a top 2 heavyweight. Don't be a casual & say Klitschko, he was unranked in the tbrb.
Take out all of the slow shot 38-41 year olds & who's left?
Parker Ruiz & Usyk & 2 of those beat him.

Yes Wilder lost all 3 in the greatest trilogy since Bowe Holyfield but against the number 1 Heavyweight on the planet, Aj lost to 15 ranked Ruiz & 10 ranked Usyk at the time of fighting.

They're resumes are as bad as each other but at least Wilder & Fury had the stones to fight each other while AJ's only relevant through Rematchroom paperwork.

Before Ruiz? Yes. After Ruiz? Doubtful.

I've never been punched by Joyce but from what my eyeballs tell me, he's not really a puncher that puts people to sleep with one shot. He almost looks like he throws pushing arm punches but they look incredibly heavy regardless.

I like Joyce, but we don’t know how good he really is yet.

Having said that, i seriously doubt there’d be any form of stoppage before round 6 for this one. Let’s have it: prefer it to Joshua-Wallin
