I think he was so concerned about what he was going to do to Pac, that he forgot about the punches that were being thrown at him with blinding speed like he was hypnotized.

I am pretty sure there are tons of reasons. Manny's Speed, head movement, foot movement are beyond Hatton's, defensive flaws on hattons part, hatton is to up front in your face which isn't a good strategy to use against Manny. I think Manny is smarter in the ring. All in all, I am not a Hatton fan, and I don't even think he is that good when compared to todays level of boxer.

Simple reason: Pac was just too good.

The minute he step into the ring he totally disregarded any and everything Mayweather Sr. said to him and reverted back to his pitbull style of fighting. It's almost as if he made the decision during the pre-fight pageantry and said F it. Put simply, Hatton plays checkers, not chess.

Because Pacquio is too good and he is the Michael Jordan of Boxing.

He was never that good to begin with. Hatton was just an average fighter who got to where he was because of his fanbase.

hattons split with billy graham and, more importantly, kerry kayes.
