And another thing, you say you haven't watched many of his fights, so how can you judge by just a few? Makes no sense. Get the full account on his exploits, then make a better assessment of the situation. The guy was good, and because he evaded, although he was an excellent counterpuncher, doesn't mean he was a runner
Dont give me that, im a big fan of Whitaker and ive seen 20+ Mayweather fights and i dont think either of them are runners but i do think Camacho is.

Rosario, Mancini, DLH, Tito, Chavez, Sugar Ray Leonard thats 6 fights not a few.

You know im gonna take it back, maybe im being a bit harsh on Camacho. I do recognized that he was a skilled fighter but from my own personal point of view he did too much moving and not enough sticking.

I should not really past judgment without watching more of him, so my bad i will try to watch a bit more of him, that said ive not been impressed so far with what ive seen from him.

He BECAME a runner after the Rosario fight, he fought different after that. I think it was that fight where he was dropped?

Pre-Rosario his defence was relient on slipping dodging etc.

I have to agree and say he was a runner, but that was after the Chapo fight. Once Chapo hit him with that left hook his whole swagger changed.

So Larryx tonight i watched Camacho vs Haugen, Pazienza. The Haugen fight was a very close fight that Camacho made more difficult for himself by going into his shell in the last 3 rounds and ******ly trying to hit Haugen when asked to touch gloves, which cancelled out that early knockdown he scored. I scored the fight and i had it a draw but Camacho would of won if he had not gone negative in the last 3 and gotten a point taken for trying to sucker punch Haugen. It was no way a clear win for Camacho. Those last 3 rounds are what epitomize Camacho as a fighter a negative spoiler, his lack of mental strength might be one of the reasons he was never on Whitaker's level and guys like Whitaker.

I watched the Paz fight and he did actually stand his ground more in this fight and instead of just moving he was sticking more, but he did fade and went negative again once he started to tire towards the end.
