Camacho Senior had a good defense. There I just mentioned it haha. Most people are too busy talking about JMM, Pac, Floyd, or Cotto.

Hector Camacho Sr, could make anyone look bad in the ring, he was like an oiled mongoose in there. Fast as phuck, and hard to hit.

Yeah, Senior had excellent defensive skills. He wasn't just a runner. Dude was incredibly slick.

He might have done sporadically but he did more running imo. Ive got nothing against giving movers credit if they are countering effectively like Whitaker, Mayweather but this guy was just a runner from what ive seen of him.

But then again have not seen that much of him, only against Mancini, Tito, DLH, Chavez, Rosario.

camacho would make you miss 5-6 punches then counter with 5-6 punches plus he was a southpaw....he is very underated imo.....i love watching his old fights

I agree with you that he had some nice skill but the problem he is did not stop and nail his opponent often enough he did too much backing up, so much so that he made you dizzy because he would always circle the one way.

Spinks is on the same level as Camacho for running.
