Extra defensive is putting it mildly.

I think i just proved my point to myself. The fact that you dont think he ran from Mancini just lets me know what kind of undeserved credit you are giving the man for countering rather than running.

You know whats ironic.............that Boxers have bigger mouths than the aggressive brawling type fighters and yet guys like Camacho run around the ring like like he is trying to avoid contact rather than initiate it. It makes you want them to get beat down even more when they run their gums off and then fight like a **** and proceed to get the living **** beat out of them.....DLH, Chavez because they wont fight back.

Prior to the Rosario fight, Camacho Sr. was very talented and his hands and reflexes were among the fastest ever seen. But once he got hit with that left hook from Chapo, his career turned into an all out track meet. I posted earlier somewhere else that Puerto Rico would be better off if Camacho Sr. was Dominican and now Im posting it here too. I think that reason combined with his horrible style post Rosario, make him the forgotten fighter he turned into being.

Dude, what you call running around, is actually the evasive tactics that cause other boxers to expend more energy trying to hit something that is not there, than actually engaging. Great boxers don't just stand there and get hit, it's the ones that can hit you and not get hit, using whatever strategy makes you expend that energy, that get the upper hand in the latter rounds. And another thing, you say you haven't watched many of his fights, so how can you judge by just a few? Makes no sense. Get the full account on his exploits, then make a better assessment of the situation. The guy was good, and because he evaded, although he was an excellent counterpuncher, doesn't mean he was a runner.
