It's gay crap for people who can't box. That's why it was invented. None of them could ever make it as boxers to a high level so they invent this so-called MMA garbage to give them a chance to make some dollars.

What has he graduated to real gay humping instead?

Wrestling/Takedowns are part of MMA, that is why it is called "MIXED Martial Arts" so if you're going up against a great Wrestler then you have to prepare for that and work on your takedown Defense. No different than Boxing really, if you going up against a slickster, you prepare for that and work on cutting the ring off and setting traps to try and catch him. You don't get picked apart for 12 Rounds, lose by Wide UD then run to the Presser and Social Media crying about "All He Did Was Run"

MMA have their own BETTER fans, they don't need us Fickle Boxing Fans to bring our Bitter Negative Energy in their world no way. Nobody is forcing us to watch and nobody is begging us to watch but yet Boxing Fans sure do seem to watch only to come and complain about it lol

Gets my money's worth MORE from UFC Cards than I do Boxing that is sure sure, especially over the last couple of years
Lmfao this thread really hit a nerve huh

Stylebender was 75-5 as a kickboxer and challenged for the MW title. He's legit.

If you have ever been in a fight that went to the ground, then you'd know it’s not about sex, and you'd especially know that if you lost that fight. Grappling is all about skill and conditioning. MMA is more like a street fight with rules.

Striking is more entertaining usually but that mix of striking and grappling is what gives MMA its own identity. i honestly dont see the point watching it if you cant appreciate the grappling part and the way it effects the dynamics of a fight, because without that you're basically watching a mid level kickboxing match. The overall standard of grappling in MMA is quite a bit higher than the standard of striking too.

                    Absolutely.

I get excited for the Wrestler vs BJJ specialist fights. MMA grapplers are legit.

DC is a world champion medalist, Ben Askren gold medalist, Romero is Olympic silver medalist.

                    List goes on and on.

I’m not sure if it’s possible to be a world class grappler and striker at the same time tbh. Takes too
much time to get to the top in both disciplines.

Yeah its not gonna happen. I think we've already pretty much seen the limits of how good you can be while being truly well rounded. Yan and Volkanovski probably best represent that in the current era, prime DJ a few years back is another one. Prime Fedor is still the most all round skilled HW ive seen too.
