I can tolerate Ward because he's intelligent enough to communicate to the viewers what's taking place in there but he's no Paulie imo. Paulie is second to none on breaking down what's taking place in there. Good for him for not towing anyone's company line eventhough it's cost him future gigs.
When did Andre Ward become an embarrassing sell out?

And those Dumb you mentioned only get dumber with or without Ward reiterating his bias.Comment

The fact you wrote this without a hint of irony shows the serious lack of self-awareness you're clearly experiencing. You essentially put your soul in a box the moment you work for a influential television or media outlet.
I originally studied journalism at university and was looking to get into the boxing media but they essentially just want you to consistently lie to the public. I care far too much about the sport to ever sink to that level. I have little to no respect for any of these so called boxing pundits. They’re all sell-outs.
The worse thing about Ward though is I’d assume he doesn’t even need the money. It’s not like he’s a Johnny Nelson or Bellew, the guy made millions, he should be set for life.
Thanks for the laugh.Comment

It's almost impossible to find an unbiased commentator now. Each promoter aligns themselves with a network. The network hires yes-men to call the fight for the house fighter. I'm sure that's one of the reasons Teddy was fired by ESPN, he wouldn't play along and be a yes-man if he thought a robbery took place.Comment

He was always a bit cringey. Carried himself like he's better than everyone with his bible-thumpin BS.
Dude wasted 3 years of his career prime fightin nobody he never mentions that either.Comment

Paulie is the best technical commentator imo also. He has a very skilled eye of breaking down the action. Second to none. Roy is good as well

As for Ward, I just think he dislikes Bradley lol he barely agrees with Tim. Maybe that's by design from ESPN. But who knowsComment

You said it. Paulie was great on the mic. He fought everyone. He has tremendous skill and heart. He just didn’t have enough punch to make it to the next level.

He was my favourite commentator. He didn’t talk over anyone and kept calm and collected. He wasent afraid to give his honest opinion or go against somebody else’s less than expert opinion. He was respectful and well spoken. He was so much better than anyone could ever expect even his haters.
You get morons saying things like Wilder might have broken his hand he keeps touching his glove. Everybody knows that’s a constant tick he does in all his fights and since the opening bell.
Joe Rogan says every punch wobbled a guy. He also texted in saying that he thought Francis broke his hand cause he kept touching his glove. Another tick that he’s always done. The commentators of course have to back him up. There’s no excuse for that sort of thing. It’s shameful and ruins it for the fans.
Ward sucks as a commentator. They should pay him by the word. Better yet each accurate word. We don’t need six commentators throwing it back to each other.
Paulie was the best. I like Bradley too. It’s a shame cause Paulie would know how to make the production better for us fans.
