I certainly disagree with most of the comments on here! I don’t think either fighter is afraid of one another or the thought of losing, but it does have to make financial since, and I understand Crawford thinking he’s deserving of a 50/50 split being a 2 division champion but Spence does have the edge here with the amount of belts and he’s been at the weight longer and has bigger names on his record at 147. I just hope they can put it together before the end of this year otherwise the hell with it!

When asked about a Spence fight, Crawford said 60/40 in my favor. Why in the hell would Spence accept 40% for a fight he brings in 75% of the revenue? But Spence is the one afraid?

I think Crawford was being sarcastic in response to Spence demanding the larger split. Crawford is not scared of Spence. He got right up on him and called him out in front of Spence's homies. Spence said Crawford was easy work,he'd put 100k on it.Crawford responded let's make it a 1,000,000.That exchange is on video. I honestly believe they both want it. It's PBC that has held up the fight to protect the belts should Spence lose. Crawford will have to make some concessions if he wants the fight. I personally think 55/45 is fair since Spence will bring more belts. Crawford would probably also have to sign a three fight deal w PBC to get the Spence fight. I'm not sure sure who wins,both men are beasts in the ring. But it sure would be great for us fans. That is THE biggest non heavyweight non Canelo fight in boxing. It's a shame to the sport it hasn't been made.

Crawford has one belt and one beat washed up versions of fighters spence best in their primes. Brook and Porter basically fight retirement cash out fights vs bud. Brook didn’t even train with ingle just “winged it”. Porters dad said he knew going into the fight Shawn would lose because he didn’t do the things he normally does in camp. Whoever wins ugas vs spence will own 3 belts and command a 60to 65% purse split. TC won’t agree to this. He won’t bet on himself. He’s said this repeatedly and he hasn’t picked up any more belts to make the split more even. He was content fighting bums for good money on ESPN while spence was beating Brook porter DSG mikey garcia Lamont Peterson

It was obvious this fight would begin serious talks after all the belts were collected and it was for the undisputed 147 title.

But if there is still an excuse after Ugas, then I would entertain Spence ducking narratives.

Crawford gets too many passes for not trying to make the fight like he A-side when everyone knows he done nothing to earn that title. P4P is another whole discussion.
