Jeez... that's one of the worst fights I've seen in a good while. Okolie spends 95% of his fights in clinches - such a boring fighter to watch. The ref should've taken at least one point off him.

Why would the ref take a point off ??? It is normal in boxing nowadays to hug as much as possible. Whitaker (RIP), and most Black boxers hug without even a warning and win by decision. The formula is simple: punch your opponent, hug immediately so you wonīt get punched back and bingo! You scored a point while the opponent didnīt. Also do some running. Floyd Mayweather made a career fighting like that yet many consider him great. Never had even a warning, let alone a point deduction. Rigondeaux, Lara and specially the Afro Americans, fight like that. Boring.

Have you not seen any of Okolie's previous fights - he clinches excessively. He was miles ahead in the fight but was initiating clinches, why? I got no problem with with clinching or running if good offense is carried out between the clinches but Okolie just does it way too much even when not necessary. His attacking arsenal is quite poor as well - there was not much in the way of a jab, little to no combinations and he was telegraphing the hell out of the right hand. Someone with a higher boxing IQ like Breidis will iron him out.
