Yea I agree he knows he got away with one tonight so he’s moving up so he doesn’t have to face jack again! Gift wrapped decision there for Taylor

No different than a Pbc card. That tells you how overrated Prograis was. Taylor killed him.

Ref Marcus McDonald called it down the middle taking points from both boxers -- in spite being at the Hydro. Also, McDonald showed to have great eyes tonight, especially in the eighth round. I was impressed how quickly Marcus McDonald identified Taylor's rabbit-punches and enforced the rules of prize-fighting.

Josh Taylor was warned several times throughout the fight and was dropped, losing a point ; striking Jack Catterall after the bell was ****** considering that Ben Davidson told Josh that he was down on the score during the break. But Josh Taylor knew that he was never losing at home so he gave no F's. This reminded me of when Josh Taylor sneaked Jose Ramirez in round seven ; if it were not for that slip Ramirez would of won on points.

Because he's an Arum boy now, and they would never let him lose a mandatory, especially to someone that no one in the US knows or cares about.

You are correct. Like I said before, Bob Arum will ensure that the jr. welterweight titles stay with Toprank.

Very biased. Also when results is such and you dont want to offer rematch its usually cause you know you were gifted a win. Had been anywhere but home id been a loss.
I never understand why people give their opinions right after admitting they didn’t watch the fight.

I struggle to even see this as a win because he was at 'home'. It's not like going across the pond and losing to a delusional/corrupt Adalaide Byrd. He won because he's Top Rank, pure and simple.

                  Honestly don't have an answer.
Nothing like a young un to put things in perspective lol.

                    1. Ugly, sloppy, ugghly fight
                    2. Catterall should have won by at least 4pts
                    3. Great effort by him, but Jack Catterall is not a world class fighter
                    4. something is very wrong in the Taylor camp.

Even the judge who had josh losing gave him 6 rounds, poor jack didn't win more rounds than josh on any of the cards. Embarrassing.
