Taylor speaking the plain truth here. For Davis to call himself a champion at 140lbs, he does have to face Taylor. There's no way around that while Taylor holds all the belts.

Davis is exciting but not a particularly interesting fighter. Who was he been in danger of losing to before be stepped into the ring? He can't have fought anyone who wasnt a 10/1 underdog. Good for him if he's getting paid.

You'd just keep running with that if people are prepared to watch him which they clearly are. People love a highlight reel.

I agree and disagree with this statement. Davis can call himself A champion at 140 but he isnt THE champion. I would honestly embrace seeing this fight because even though I believe Tank would lose to Taylor I think his stock would raise because I think it would be a back and forth battle.

Taylor is the man at 140 no doubt about it, if Davis wants a say? prove it in the ring, being possibly hes biggest payday at 140 maybe Taylor should call him out more and make it clear that Davis doesn't want that smoke "Let's go (fake) champ" style, Davis has really surprised me but I got Taylor winning a clear decision,

Davis isn’t fighting Taylor. To be fair he’s too small for 140, he’s not going to fight any of the top fighters there, no Prograis and no Ramirez either.

he seems a bit timid at 135 though and that’s a problem.

I hope you're wrong! I would love Tank vs. Prograis! I would also love to see Taylor vs. Subriel Matias! I doubt Josh would fancy that fight!

Taylor trying to get that Tank payday.

I don’t think anyone believes any boxer other than Taylor is a champ at 140.

It’s a real problem for the sport when hardcore fans start buying into the multi-belt shenanigans of the sanctioning companies.
