Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor: Crawford Fight Very Realistic; I Know How To Beat Him; Can Match His Skills

By Keith Idec - Josh Taylor isn't entirely certain that his fight against Jack Catterall on Saturday night will be his last appearance at the 140-pound limit. If the Scottish southpaw decides to move up to the welterweight division for his following fight, though, there is only one opponent Taylor wants to pursue. The second undisputed champion in junior welterweight history wants to take on the 140-pound division's first fully unified champion, Terence Crawford.

Taylor is a dead set 135lbr. His style won't be effective going up and giving up physical advantage.

He's undisputed as well and doesn't need to go chasing after Crawford, a catch weight in the middle is fine but otherwise no.

What? He's already fighting above 135lbs comfortably, and is taller than Crawford... Crawford's reach will be the physical issue for Taylor, especially with the style match-up

Crawford will show Taylor that there are levels to this game. 147 will show all that Taylor is completely overhyped. 147 is 10 times better division than 140. Taylor and Prograis are the joint big fishes in the 140 pond, but at 147 there are many sharks to eat them alive. Nash out.

A washed Viktor Postol nearly knocked you out in the seventh round, 'Tart-Tomato'. But Terence Crawford had a easy time with the prime WBC 140 champ, who just got done making the boogey-man Lucas Mathysse quit.

Josh Taylor probably could not beat Jeff Horn.
