By Cliff Rold - Undisputed Jr. welterweight king Josh Taylor (18-0, 13 KO) is going home. One day, we may look at Taylor as Scotland's finest since at least Ken Buchanan. In 2022, it's enough to just be one of the best fighters in the world. With wins over Viktor Postol, Regis Prograis, and Jose Ramirez, Taylor earned his place in the ring.

Speaking of seeds, the 'Takeover' Teofimo Lopez has planted himself at 140. I'm going to do like Weezy and steal Gary Antuanne Russell's moment, because nobody want to see the 'Tart-Tomato' make another stinking defense against a useless mandatory.

Josh Taylor needs to stop ducking Teofimo Lopez, yo it would be funny if Josh Taylor does as Cliff says, request the WBC 'Franchise' title and then Teo can come in and contradict himself by claiming that he holds the REAL WBC championship

    Josh Taylor, YOU SUCK!

My OG's uncle Chuck Nitty and Fidel Castro have reviewed Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall. If you been following boxing for the last decade, you know my mans.

Josh Taylor ( the guy who will suck the life and will out of any 140lber ) has a mandatory after Catterall, should he win, against Jose Zepeda. That's a good fight. He beat Jose Ramirez and didn't get his just due. Taylor should have been fighting Zepeda for undisputed. I'd be happy for him to stay around at 140 for that fight so he can suck some more. I hear Zepeda may be out in March? Not sure against who, most probably a tickover. If Antuanne Russell beats Postol ( another guy who beat Ramirez ) that's one to watch. But I suspect Taylor will be sucking at 147 by then. Long live TTT.

We can forget about all these mandatories, I want to see the 'Takeover' Teofimo Lopez and Regis Prograis give Taylor the beating of his life. Josh Taylor has been avoiding both of them. I will agree with you that 140 is a great place for Josh Taylor but he knows that the wolves are closing in on him so I expect him to get out of town very soon.

I love Gary Antuanne Russell, and I hope he does well on Saturday night, but let's not forget all the other talents at 140! Subriel Matias is a MONSTER! Shojahon Ergashev is back! Brandun Lee looks legit! Teofimo Lopez has joined the party, and hopefully we get Lopez Jr. vs. Barboza Jr. soon! Lastly, Regis Prograis is worthy of a title shot too!

Shout out to Montana Love! Step your game up!

IBF, DO YOUR JOB! MATIAS VS. PONCE ASAP!!!

Lopez got some work to do to earn a shot. And Prograis got beaten already. If Taylor fights more sensible next time he beats Prograis easier. With 2 good eyes the whole fight, he'll take care of buisness again. Regis knows that's a fight for 147, he's not daft, he knows what time it is. Taylor already has a Prograis t-shirt, and doesn't need another one. Regis is the best in the division after Josh, and he whoops Lopez.
