Bivol is the biggest challenge and GGG is the still the biggest mainstream name so let’s see it.
Funny how BBB side had Canelo in the ring and couldn’t live up to his boogeyman status.
He and groupies said Canelo would never trade with him then in the rematch GGG was backing up the whole fight.
You had your shot BBB side! Let’s hope Canelo decided to bless you with a retirement check on your way out the door.

My feeling after watching the second fight was that in the final few rounds GGG learned Canelo’s distance and tendencies and to throw with him not in response. I thought after the last fight Canelos face said I’m done with this guy. Yes GGG was cut it was caused by a headbutt and the older we get the more our faces markup.

At this point both of these guys are past their physical prime. GGG has spent the majority of his popular career post physical prime. A rematch will end in a body shot KO for one of these fighters, likely a win for Canelo.

GGG is 39 now. I think Canelo stops him at 168 if they fight a 3rd match

          Shades of choc-rungsvisai, walters-donaire and magarito-cotto again
GGG was at least in training for the Murata fight which was supposed to happen in December, so he will have shaken some rust off.

He'll face Murata in April I think so that's another training camp. I think he'll be sharp enough. However, Father Time waits for no body and he isn't the same fighter anymore.

Deep down, I still want to see it though. If I tuned in to Khan/Brook this past weekend, then I'll surely tune into the trilogy.
Absolutely got it done in the first fight. Fixed scorecards be damned.

You think Canelo is passed his prime?

Yet, he didn't show any confidence in the rematch. He had a great jab but he was getting peppered all night and those body shots took the wind out of his sails. Try again.

31-32 is post or on the downside of physical prime.

A 6-years past his prime GGG clearly beat Canelo in the first fight so has nothing to prove, as any boxing fan knows he never drew that fight.

In the second, Canelo resorted to PEDs and even then, he couldn't beat the Kazakh.
