He only chose to fight Kell Brook because he thought he was more shot and washed up then he was with the two metal plates inserted in both of his eye sockets. Nobody outside of Manny beat anyone "elite" unless you consider Porter who Brook beat first and more convincingly than both guys

I always say that. Special K is elite. He only lost to another elites like GGG, Spence and Crawford. Moreover, he was outboxing Spence and Crawford. He gave to A Mere Con a criminal beating. Good job Kelly. British poster boys exposed against true elites. Brook and Usyk showed that timing and skills are superior to speed and muscles.

I don't rate that slow plodding Spencer 'elite'. GGG and Crawford are elite and Brook lost both fights without ever having any chance.

He probably couldve took a better career route but he gets props for taking the most difficult fights.
