Duran would take Pac to a place he has never been to. Not to many fighter would be able to deal with Duran at 135. Duran by mid round KO.

funny how people don't give pacquiao a chance. he can hold his own against duran or any other atgs around his weight class. saying he can't is ******. if id made a pick, id say duran probably late ko after a brutal fight. pac winning is not out of the question though.

modern fighters today would most likely beat fighters back in the day. but it doesn't mean they are greater than them.

I for 1 dont give him a chance, and I would tell you why, Duran at 135 was a beast. He had a great chin, he sliped punches better than anyone I have seen, his work ethic and body punches were amazing, he broke a guys ribs in the ring. he was just 1 nasty fighter. Pac is great yes for this era, but back then when Duran was fighting they fought 15rd fights. Duran's name is mentioned along the lights of Ali, Robinson, Pep, Whitacker..the guy was a true ATG.

Duran will goe down in history as a better lightweight because his body of work is in that weight division. But its similar to SRR. He wont go down in history as the greatest middleweight in history, because he didnt campaign at that weight.

But on his best day he could have beaten any middleweight in history. Dont tell me he couldnt beat Marvin hagler, or BH or Monzon

Best LW of all time Vs a guy who has 1 fight at the weight....

Lets put it this way I could name 7-8 LW that would beat Pac at 135.

People tend to glorify the champions of yesteryear and say that they would demolish all the champions of today because back then everything was more difficult. I think that Manny Pac v. Duran would be a very good fight, but I can't say who would win prime for prime since I think Manny is still improving. The Manny of today would give Duran a fight, but someone will get knocked out before the 10th. They're both so very skilled ATG's that I can't guess who will be the victor. Duran certainly fought better opposition than Manny Pac did at 135 though.
